{strange happenings}

the most bizare thing happened last night. Jessica (the froommate) and I went to bed early last night, like before 10. which used to be a habit but as of recently has been unheard of. after talking and laughing for about 20 minutes i was off to slumber land. she probably was too. i dont know. you cant judge what a person is doing across the room in the dark. you try it. anyway, so we were sleeping and i must say i was having a nice sleep. all of the sudden my peaceful slumber was interrupted by very loud very crazy music. for a split second i thought maybe it was her alarm. but then i remembered she wakes up to High School Musical more often than not. i sat up and asked her what that was but by this point she was up and out of bed. i followed suit and soon we were stumbeling around the room like crazies looking for the source of the music. after what seemed like an eternity she promptly states its my laptop. say what? i open it up and and cant find where the noise is coming from so i turned the volume off and proceded to check the windows that i had left open. there seriously was nowhere that it could be coming from. i figurered i would find the source in the morning. i got back in bed (only after a short potty break) and looked at my phone. 3:10. oh boy. i was seriously freaked out, i layed in my bed for like a half hour scared out of my mind. i thought jessica had gone back to sleep or i would have gotten into bed with her (we do that sometimes). it was only this morning that she told me she layed in bed all sorts of scared too. sooo this morning when i got up (you might say afternoon, but dont tell anyone) i opened up my laptop once again and there was no place the music was coming from. what makes it even more odd is that neither of us recognized what it was.

strange things are happening folks, strange things.

it reminds me of one time last year when my alarm clock randomly went off in the middle of the night. i never set my alarm clock because i just wake up to my phone. i couldnt get the dang thing to turn off. maybe jessica and i are haunted? we thought it was the apartment last year but its probably just us.

now im dealing with a bout of paranoia. great.

and in better news: in august gas here was over $4. last week it was $2.99. my sister bought it for $2.49 on her way out of town. yesterday it was $2.19 at the maverick around the corner. today on my way to the library it was $2.09. on my way home from the library it was $2.07. i should have waited until tomorow to buy some gas cause it will probably be like free but i had to get it today cause i have a strange fear of letting the gas gage get under half. its weird i know. but alas i do it.

i was hoping it would be under $15 to fill her up but it was $16 (which is better than the one time this summer i put $100 in the suburban and it still wasnt full) . i can live with that. that gives me $14 (i have in my bank account) and a $5 bill to use for the next two weeks and for gas to get home for thanksgiving. im thinking if i can live off what i have and only buy milk i will be set. wish me luck. (if you would like to donate to the Laurens Higher Education/Needs To Get Home For Thanksgiving Fund just let me know)

Ha ha...you know it. Marc and I and his cousins pregnant wife and I are tight. We're talking BFF's.

AND...I also think you guys might be haunted....I don't deal well with hauntings, so please keep them in your room?!
