{as it turns out, there really is an app for that}

In case you haven't been in my backyard lately I will enlighten you on the status of the occupants therein. Firstly, being the dog. Tundra, as she is most formaly known as. And secondly, the trailer. It chills back there with the dog during the off season (oh you know, when it's not vacationing all summer under the stars and being slept in by dirty camp fire smelling gals like myself, and Skater). I haven't been around to see what the trailer has been up to the past few months, but I do believe that it spent the winter parked on the grass awaiting it's up and coming use.

That is where today comes in.

We are expecting some very important visitors for a very important occasion very shortly. As you may or may not know, there aint much room in this house of ours for a whole other family to join us, so they (as in them) get the pleasure of sleeping in the trailer. I would too if they would let me. The point being that in order for them to safely sleep in said trailer it had to be de-winterized and leveled. so it wouldn't tip over, or something like unto it.

guess who got the job of doing such duties? Me. and Skater. and the mother. and the dog.

Skate attempted to do it herself. She has no muscles, or she just didn't want to show off. or maybe her massive high heels were getting in the way of this manly job. idk. just a guess.

the mother even got involved, in her skirt. she got out the wrench to use as a STOP! its {makeshift} hammer time! Didn't work.

After their attempts at manly muscle strength to get that bad boy leveled they finally admitted defeat and brought in the big guns (so it turns out that i totes used to pump iron on the mission... when we went to the gym... when we went to the gym. when. when we went). wait a second, is that a bald spot i see? SAY IT ISN'T SO!

hold on! but how are we even supposed to tell if my muscles got it level or not? oh wait, a leveler, you say? oh yeah, don't even worry. i have an app for that. as in instead of using an actual leveler - like the one i was holding in my hand - I thought outloud to myself "dude, i bet there's an app for that!" and which point i proceeded to check, find, download, and use an electronic leveler. and sure enough the phone wins again! I mean, it practically leveled the trailer by itself.

cool? i thought so. but that might just be because i'm a little behind the technological/social/trendy/whats-hot-whats-not times. and by a little i mean a lot. but that's beside the point.

i really just think it's about time to get rid of these things:

because afterall, there's an app for that.

*disclaimer: in the end we had to enlist the help of the neighbor to give that big old trailer one last lift. he says we are def strong enough, we just didn't have the right mechanical advantages with our tools. Don't even worry, he brought over his mechanical advantage and got. it. done. But only after explaining to us how a square works. Turn's out we're not the brightest bulbs in the box.

thanks for fixing our temporary house. :) I'm sure you could sleep on the table or sink or somewhere. We can even kick Nate out... heh heh.
