today, the day of the sabath, was quite nice.
adventurous one might say
but nice
it started with yours truely getting up in time to be able to eat breakfast (a necessary thing in my life) AND be on time to my sabath day worship service. i dressed myself in my cute red dress my mother so loveing made for my graduation. (college. one down, two to go (graduations that is)) word?
during the services i was pleased to be able to entertain Kale. he is the roundest little hunk of baby in america. probably all of north america. most likely the cutest too. his little head is like a perfectly round little ball. he weighs close to 25 pounds and is only 7 months of age. get the picture? good. as he and i were playing and smiling and laughing and undressing me, he leaned forward and... (close your eyes if your easily nauseated) the largest amount of white slightly chunky baby spew i have ever seen in my whole life was coming out of his mouth. projectile like. he didnt get a drop on his little cute lime green polo. my pretty red dress wasnt so lucky. i had spit up from the top to the bottom of my dress. seriously. grotesque? yes. it gets better. no one had anything to clean it up with. so there i was sitting in my little pew holding rolypoly Kale with smelly white crap all down me. then, like an angel straight out of heaven (its cause we were in church) the lady with the baby down the bench passed down her blanket and i was saved at last.
after a quick trip home when the meeting was ajurned i was back to business listening to a fabulous lesson on MISSIONARIES. who would have thought. not i. fifth sunday = combined with the icky men. at least my mom got to sit by my dad. i got to sit by my grandma, like always. then it was off to the school of sunday. i got quite bored like usual so i stood myself right up and went for a little walk about the church. i ended up in the 17-18 sunday school class taught by none other than sister-Kale's mom.
i like her. she may or may not be my favorite. i think this might stem from the time i was 14 going through my "stage" to the time i was 18 and moved away to escuela. she was my teacher in someway or another then. nice lady. (she has, arguably, the cutest kids on the west side of the mississippi)
after those adventures i got myself right on home and ate some Dorritos. boy were they yummy. then i watched Americas Next Top Model and ate more Dorritos.
after a few hours of ANTM i made dinner. yes, you read right. im like the best child my mother ever had. hamburgers, potato skewers and big yummy salad was on the menu. unfortunetly the hamburgers got a little crispy. they were good none the less.
after said dinner i, myself, set out making cookies.
im so domestic it KILLS me sometimes.
they are yum-er-ific.
want one? come on over.
i made them to take to my visiting teaching sisters. im like THE biggest slacker in america. seriously. i knocked on one door and no one answered so i walked down the street and no one answered there either. when i was coming back up the street to fetch the automobile the people in the first house were outside. they asked if i had knocked on their door. indeed i had, was the reply. they said they were sorry they didnt answer.
"we werent decent"
HELLO?!? TMI!!!
its bad enough having to go to a society of the relief variety where all people talk about is having babies and how so and so doesnt ovulate and breast feeding and how much they love their husband and blah blah blah. but now i have a newlywed couple telling me they were in there being NOT DECENT.
thank you for the visual.
then i stopped by my other girls house, she just graduated high school and still lives with the parentals so i didnt have to worry about her being indecent with a boy.
gross.
and now im here
writing the longest thing ever.
betcha wanted to read all that.
hah.
you just did.
sucka.
at least i have cookies and you dont.
