Remember how my good pal Sarah came to play? It's just so dang fun... until THIS happened.
After all my learning was finished for the day Sarah came to pick me up from escuela so we could go to lunch. We couldn't decide on what we wanted because there are just SO many choices in this dang town. After much diriving around and discussing the options we decided on a newish resturaunt in town named after a species of cold blooded animals. We walked in the door and were greeted by a nice looking man who asked us what we wanted. What we wanted? Lunch, duh. After following him "right this way" he quickly turned around and asked if we were 21. I looked at him for a minute while debating if it was really worth the lie but finally setteled on a "not quite yet". He then informed us that we could come back with our parents (our parents? i haven't 'lived' with my parents for almost 3 years) or we could sit up in some shady looking room out of sight of the bar. It seemed kind of inconvenient for for him and a little lame for us so after declining the offer we took our business elsewhere.
Back to deciding. That seriously is the hardest part.
After a short little debate we picked the resturant cleverly named after a very spicy and delicious food. After we were seated next to the bar it was decided that a very large spice shrimp salad (for her) and the bottomless lunch special (for me) would be ordered. Do you know what the bottomless lunch special entails? I will enlighten you. Ever been to The Olive Garden? You know, soup salad and breadsticks? It's like that. Soup, salad, and chips and salsa. Seriously so good. You should try it sometimes. I highly reccomend the baked potato + quesadilla chicken soup. Both quite scrumptious.
But that's beside the point.
And here's the point: We went to one resturaunt where we were informed that we couldn't have lunch in sight of the bar, yet at the next we sat right next to it.
What gives?
Now we're eating pizza which, thankfully, doesn't require any special seating arrangements.
