{do you have $99/month?}

the tv just asked me that. the answer is no.

and now what we're really here for...

I know, I know, youre all probably sick of knowing about my weekends. mostly because the only people that read this lame face crap were there when it happened. but im going to tell you anyway. deal with it. here we go:

This monday we had school off for harvest holliday (read: the hunt) so i went home.

home is where its at, yo. for real. me madre came to get me on friday after i seriously bombed my chem test (after which i have decided to change my major, but we'll get to that). we proceded to subway where she slightly embarassed me in front of a very cute young man who lives in my apartment complex. they were chatting it up for like 20 minutes. i kid you not.

it may be because my mom is hot. like hot hot. (ever heard this song? replace her name with mine and you have my life.)

we gossiped the whole way home and lame people and it was fabulous. and then we stopped for drinks half way home. and it was fun. and then we went grocery shopping and bought me a pumpkin to carve. which i did. but not until later in the weekend, hold onto your panties, we'll get there.

(this is really lame. you can stop reading here if you want)

so on saturday i woke up (on the couch where i fell asleep and no one bothered to wake me up) to the phone ringing. it was for my dad, brother so and so calling about sister inthehospital and then sister relief societypresident called about sister inthehospital and then brother bestfriendsdad came over to talk about sister inthehospital. and all along my dad wasnt even home. so i relayed the messages. and he got all worried and concerned looking because his flock is dying. its very sad.

and then we went to salt lake to pay our respects to our grandmother. we even planted her a plant. we'll see if it last through the winter (if youre at the SLC cemetary check and make sure the plant is still there. and thats its still living). the greatest part of the whole trip was that the whole family who lives west of the mississippi spent the day together. we went to Sweet Tomatos (where i saw the WW lady who was TOTALLY judging me not only because of what i was eating but because im still fat. damn. but then megan saw her eating bread with BUTTER?!?!) and then to DSW and Linens n Things. The shopping was a bust. we got nothing. nothing i tell you, nothing. it was devestating.

oh but then what happened? i know youre dying for me to go on...

Megan and i went shopping. at the mall. we dont have those were i spent my time getting my education. i bought presents for the roommates who have the big TWO-ONE coming up. and other things. other things i didnt need but bought anyway. it was a good time spending a couple hours with my sister. we talked and we laughed and we cried. well i cried, she didnt.

and then sunday happened. and i curled my hair and it was cute. and i cried through sacrament meeting cause dang brother lloyd was playing the organ and not my deceased grandmother. and my mom cried too. and people looked at us like we were slightly retarted which we are but thats beside the point. and then some old ladies tried to console me but let me tell you what. old ladies are lame and i want to push most of them down and it doesnt help to tell me how proud she would be of me and that shes in a better place. blah blah freaking blah. seriously.

so then i went home. and i took a nap with my sister katie. and then we ate dinner. and then my mom baked cookies while i carved my pumpkin.

and then my bestie came over and there was much rejoicing. i love her. and then after everyone went to bed and megan went home (tragidy) we drove around for a couple hours talking about everything and nothing. i loved every minute of it. i sure miss her.

are you bored? i am.

on monday my daddy sent me to the insurance place to put grandmas car on so i could drive it. it was very grown up thing to do which i totally did and it was very cool. and the nice lady even gave us a discount because im a good student. word?

after that i went to lunch with katie at the olive garden. it was delicious. soup and salad. yummo. and then after stuffing our selves silly we went to coldstone. and it was heavenly. and then i had to say goodbye and go back to school. so i said goodbye to my mommy and then to my daddy and got in my grandmothers car (which i felt very very guilty about taking, i dont think she would want me to have it) and drove away.

the ipod player is missing a screw so i had to hold it in for excatly half the time. and then i found a roll of tape in the glove compartment (good ol' grandma, always a thinker) and taped the thing up nice and tight. and it worked for the rest of the way. the cute little powder blue car is kind of old and it wont go more than 65mph up hills and shakes like crazy going down hills and speakers dont really work and when i drive it i wear these seriously cool sunglasses and its awesome.

and now im here. and i woke up sick sick sick to my stomache this morning and had to go back to bed, but dont worry, i got up again in time to go to class to pass my ankle wrapping test. and then i made spinach dip and burned my arm on the oven. and then i aced my ASL test. as in 100%. but we all knew that.

how was your weekend?
